Terms and Conditions
Your Shell Gift Card is subject to and governed by terms and conditions that are stated or described on the back of the gift card. You should read and be familiar with these terms. Your gift card is issued by the Card Issuer, and the terms and conditions constitute an agreement between the Card Issuer and you. Your Shell Gift Card:
- Is redeemable ONLY up to the available balance of your gift card. If you make a purchase that exceeds the available balance of the card, the transaction will be declined. Your gift card purchase must be equal to or less than the balance on the card. Your Shell Gift Card payment cannot be combined with other forms of payment.
- Is redeemable to purchase goods and/or services ONLY at participating and authorized Shell locations, excluding territories. Therefore, your Shell Gift Card is not redeemable at other merchants.
- Is NOT redeemable to purchase lottery tickets or money orders.
- Is NOT a reloadable gift card.
- May be redeemable for cash where required by law, though cash discounts may not apply. See Tips on Use.
- Except in certain circumstances, the Shell Gift Card is NOT subject to replacement or replenishment if lost, stolen. Therefore, you may bear the risk of loss with respect to a lost or stolen gift card.
- All terms and conditions governing the Shell Gift Card are void where prohibited by laws redeemable ONLY up to the available balance of your gift card.
- Purchase, use, or acceptance of Shell Gift Card constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions of this card.
- Is not a credit card, debit card, asset account, or deposit account. Able to purchase ONLY authorized goods and/or services, therefore, unless otherwise required by law, your gift card is NOT redeemable for cash or credit. See Tips on Use
Standard Shell Gift Card
Card may be used, up to balance, only to buy goods and services at any Shell location in the U.S., excluding territories. Not redeemable for cash unless required by law. Cash discounts may not apply. Not Reloadable. Safeguard this Card. It will not be replaced or replenished if lost, stolen or used without authorization. CardFact 25, Inc. (“CardFact”) is the issuer and sole obligor to Cardholder. CardFact may delegate its issuer obligations to an assignee, without recourse. If delegated, the assignee, and not CardFact, will be sole obligor to card owner. Distributed through Shell and its affiliates, however they are not affiliated with CardFact and are not the card issuer or obligors to Cardholder. Purchase, acceptance or use of Card constitutes acceptance of these terms. For pay at the pump redemption, insert Card and follow instructions. Pay at the pump may not be possible if balance less than one dollar. If you are having difficulty, present Card inside Shell store for payment.
