Remember that your Gift Card is issued by the Card Issuer. For information about the Card Issuer, see Card Issuer.

The Issuer may modify these Terms at any time for the following limited purposes: (a) updating redemption limitations; (b) defining changes to the limitations on use of the Wallet; (c) describing what happens if the Wallet program is terminated; (d) clarifying existing terms; (e) updating links and other factual information; (f) implementing other good-faith changes, including changes made for legal or regulatory reasons; or (g) to prevent abuse on or of the Wallet program. Changes under (f) may not add an expiration date, impose new fees, modify the arbitration agreement, or modify this section. Changes will be posted on this website under the Wallet Holder Notices page. The most current version supersedes all prior versions.

You have the ability to download the terms and conditions that govern your Wallet . This button is located at the bottom of the Full Gift Card Wallet Terms page. When you click on that button you have the ability to save the Terms as a PDF or print them.

You are responsible for all transactions associated with your Wallet. Do not share your Wallet information or any Discord account information with others. The Issuer reserves the right to block, freeze, or void a Wallet—without refund—if it suspects abuse, fraud, or unauthorized activity, or if the Wallet or its balance was obtained by theft or other unauthorized means. The Issuer may also apply Wallet balances to offset amounts owed to card companies, networks, or issuers in the event that lost or stolen payment instruments are used to purchase or load the Wallet. To place gift cards in your Wallet follow the steps outlined in Discord’s Gift Cards Help Center found at Discord Account Guide. After opening your Wallet, gift cards may be added by you to the Wallet at any time subject to the limits specified herein. You may check your balance as provided below. As a general rule, if you do not use Discord’s two factor authentication system, the total balance held in the Wallet at any given time cannot exceed $150 USD in the United States, $175 CAD in Canada, £100 GBP in the UK, 150€ EUR in the European Union. As a general rule, if you use Discord’s two factor authentication system, the total balance held in the Wallet at any given time cannot exceed $300 USD in the United States, $350 CAD in Canada, £200 GBP in the UK, 250€ EUR in the European Union except for France, and 150€ in France. These values may change. Additionally, to comply with applicable laws, to mitigate fraud, or to maintain the security of your account, we may choose to place further limits on the amount of funds that can be deposited into or held in a Wallet and may do so without prior notice.

Access to and use of your Wallet requires an active Discord account in good standing. If your access is suspended or terminated based on a violation of Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or other terms and policies, you will not be entitled to a refund or transfer of any balance contained in your Wallet.

Gift Cards purchased in the United States will be purchased in U.S. dollars ($USD) and may be placed in your Wallet. They will be subject to all the Terms stated herein. Gift Cards purchased in Canada will be purchased in Canadian dollars ($CAD) and may be placed in your Wallet. Gift Cards purchased in the United Kingdom will be purchased in British pound sterling (£GBP) and may be placed in your Wallet. Gift Cards purchased in Germany and France and other European Union countries in the Eurozone will be purchased in euros (€EUR) and may be placed in your Wallet.

Your Wallet is subject to limitations on use. It cannot be used to: ● Open another Wallet; ● Purchase a Discord branded gift card; ● Make payments toward any credit account; or ● Make purchases anywhere other than online at Discord through your Discord account. Your Wallet also cannot be used for illegal transactions or illicit activities. Your Wallet may not be refunded, returned, or redeemed for cash, except as required by applicable law. Where cash redemption is required by law, the Issuer may satisfy that obligation by cash, check, or electronic funds transfer as permitted by law.

Your Gift Card must be fully drained into your Discord Wallet. You may check your Wallet balance by visiting your Discord account user settings. More information is available at Card Balance Guide.

Remember that partial redemptions are not permitted with respect to your use of your Gift Card. When making a redemption, you must redeem the full balance of the gift card into the Discord Wallet.

Your Wallet does not expire and is not subject to fees assessed against its balance. However, your Wallet may be subject to U.S. state or territorial unclaimed property (escheat) laws. Remember that if you have not used your Wallet within a time period set by state law, the unused balance may or may not be required to escheat under various state unclaimed property statutes. These time periods set by state law usually are two-year, three-year or five-year periods for Gift Card Wallets. If the remaining balance of your Wallet becomes unclaimed property subject to a state's unclaimed property law, then the Wallet Issuer may be required to escheat the funds in the Wallet to the state in an amount and at the time required by the state law. At that time, you may lose the ability to use the funds in your Wallet. If this occurs, you may inquire about the status of your Wallet by contacting us. See Contact Us.
