Consumer Personal Information Disclosures

This Terms Now CIMI Site for your CIMI Card program has this tab labeled the Consumer Personal Information Disclosures Tab.  The information disclosed here informs you (a) whether or not Personal Information is collected regarding your CIMI Card, (b) the categories and fields of Personal Information, if any, collected in the CIMI Card program, and (c) the dates when Personal Information, if collected, will cease to be retained by CIMI pursuant to its document and data retention program.

How long do we retain your Personal Information?

Card Issuer respects the privacy of the Cardholders with respect to Personal Information. Therefore, if Personal Information is collected or received by Card Issuer, then Card Issuer will retain the Personal Information only for a period of time estimated by Card Issuer as being reasonably necessary to complete the task for which the Personal Information was collected or received. After the passage of such time, the Personal Information will cease to be retained by Card Issuer and will be deleted per the document and data retention policies of Card Issuer, as more fully explained in the CIMI Privacy Policy and Notice. Accordingly, Card Issuer will delete Personal Information, unless doing so will violate a law that specifically prohibits the exercise of this privacy practice and retention policy.

What are our retention periods for Personal Information?

The specific time periods for retention of PII may vary depending upon the task. The applicable retention periods are listed below. They may be modified by Card Issuer in which case the current periods will be published here.

1. Personal Information collected during online or remote sales: 6 months after sale
2. Personal Information collected during interaction with the website: 1 year after collection
3. Personal Information collected during customer service: 1 year after collection, except as further provided in the CIMI Privacy Policy and Notice
4. Personal Information collected while performing the Virtual Cash-Out (VCO) service: 30 days after payment
5. All other Personal Information: 6 months
