Terms and Conditions
Your Shell eGift Card is subject to and governed by terms and conditions that are stated in the terms and conditions on the purchasing website, www.buyshellgiftcards.com. You should read and be familiar with these terms. Your egift card is issued by the Card Issuer, and the terms and conditions constitute an agreement between the Card Issuer and you. Your Shell eGift Card:
- Is redeemable ONLY up to the available balance of your egift card. If you make a purchase that exceeds the available balance of the card, the transaction will be declined. Your egift card purchase must be equal to or less than the balance on the card. Your Shell eGift Card payment cannot be combined with other forms of payment.
- Is redeemable to purchase goods and/or services ONLY through the Shell App at participating and authorized Shell locations, excluding territories. Therefore, your Shell eGift Card is not redeemable at other merchants.
- Is NOT redeemable to purchase lottery tickets or money orders.
- Is NOT a reloadable egift card.
- May be redeemable for cash where required by law, though cash discounts may not apply. See Tips on Use.
- Except in certain circumstances, the Shell eGift Card is NOT subject to replacement or replenishment if lost, stolen. Therefore, you may bear the risk of loss with respect to a lost or stolen egift card.
- All terms and conditions governing the Shell eGift Card are void where prohibited by laws redeemable ONLY up to the available balance of your egift card.
- Purchase, use, or acceptance of Shell eGift Card constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions of this card.
- Is not a credit card, debit card, asset account, or deposit account. Your Shell eGift Card is NOT redeemable for credit or cash, unless otherwise required by law. See Tips on Use.
Shell eGift Card
E-Gift Card (“Card”) may be purchased through the Shell App (the “app”) and www.buyshellgiftcards.com. Card may be used up to the balance only to buy goods made through the app at participating Shell location in the U.S., excluding territories. Not redeemable for cash Unless required by law. Cash discounts my not apply. Not reloadable. Safeguard this Card. It will not be replaced or replenished if lost, stolen or used without authorization. CardFact 25, Inc. (“CardFact”) is the issuer and sole obligor to Cardholder. CardFact may delegate its issuer obligations to assignee, without recourse. If delegated, the assignee, and not CardFact, will be sole obligor to card owner. Distributed through Shell and its affiliates, however they are not affiliated with CardFact and are not the Card issuer or obligors to Cardholder. Additional terms may apply. Purchase, acceptance or use of Card constitutes acceptance of these terms.
For pay at the pump redemption, follow instructions on the app. Pay at the pump may not be possible if balance is less than one dollar.
